Oh My Gourd Halloween Howler...a Spooktacular Event!

The Halloween season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than by attending the Upper Windermere Halloween Howler! This year, families from all over Upper Windermere came together to join in the festive fun. With a host of activities and treats, the event was a spine-tingling success that left everyone in high spirits.

DIY Photography Station

Upon arriving at the event, families were greeted by a DIY photography station, complete with spooky props and backdrops. Parents and kids alike had a blast dressing up as witches, vampires, and ghosts to capture the perfect Halloween snapshots. It was a fantastic way to kick off the event and create lasting memories.

Scavenger Hunt

The Oh My Gourt Halloween Howler featured a thrilling scavenger hunt that had participants searching for five elusive witches, spotting creepy spiders, and partaking in tasks hidden throughout the venue. It was a test of observation and teamwork, with families working together to solve the riddles and discover all the hidden creatures.

Treat Bags

No Halloween event is complete without treats! Children's faces lit up as they received treat bags filled with delicious chocolate goodies. It was a delightful surprise for the little ones and added a sweet touch to the festivities.

Donut Food Truck

For those craving something savory, a donut food truck was on-site, serving up delectable, freshly made donuts. The tantalizing aroma of warm donuts filled the air, and it wasn't long before everyone was indulging in these sweet delights.

Face Painting

The event also featured talented face painters who transformed children into their favorite Halloween characters. From spooky spiders to ghastly ghosts, the face painting station was a hit, and kids proudly displayed their Halloween-themed artwork.

Pick Your Own Pumpkin

One of the highlights of the Oh My Gourt Halloween Howler was the opportunity to pick your very own pumpkin for the upcoming pumpkin carving contest. Ryan Debler & Associates from Rimrock generously provided the pumpkins for the event, and families had a blast selecting the perfect canvases for their creative carving endeavors. Pumpkin Carving Contest

For those who missed the event, but still want in on the festivities, the pumpkin carving contest continues back at home and the stakes are high. Not only will the title of "Best UW Pumpkin" be up for grabs, but participants have the chance to win a family basket full of goodies and a $200.00 gift card, courtesy of Shack Shine.

To keep everyone warm on the chilly Halloween night, Dustin from Shack Shine provided hot chocolate. It was a comforting and delicious treat, and families sipped on their hot beverages as they enjoyed the festivities. In an equally generous gesture, P.F. Chang's contributed free kid's meal vouchers for every treat bag. This added an extra layer of excitement to the event, giving families a reason to dine out together after the Halloween Howler.
