Fitness enthusiasts and beginners alike are in for a treat as new fitness classes are coming to the Upper Windermere Leisure Centre! These classes offer a refreshing way to stay healthy, energized, and motivated while also providing a fun and interactive way to engage with others in our community.


In this blog post, we'll be discussing two popular new fitness classes we are looking at offering thus far: yoga and zumba.

Yoga

Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India, and it has been gaining popularity all over the world in recent years. This fitness class focuses on body postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. Yoga can help improve flexibility, balance, strength, and reduce stress. It's also a low-impact exercise, which makes it perfect for those who want to stay active without putting too much strain on their joints. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, there's a yoga class that can cater to your needs.

Zumba

If you're looking for a high-energy, fun-filled workout, then Zumba is the class for you. Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness program that combines dance moves with aerobic exercise. It's a high-intensity workout that can help improve cardiovascular health, burn calories, and tone muscles. Zumba classes are usually conducted in a group setting, which makes it a fun and social way to stay fit.

The availability of these classes is dependent on the level of interest shown and certain classes may be limited to residents only (no guests) based on the class capacity and space available. In the event of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, classes may be subject to cancellation.
