As many of you have been concerned about the facility I wanted to give you a quick overview of what we are working on currently.
Incident at the Leisure Centre
Early morning on March 20th a vehicle collided with our main entrance sign and stopped inside our facility a few feet away from the rink. We are actively working on the clean-up and restoration process but the facility will need to remain closed for the safety of the residents during this time. Factors including repairs and damage, chemical contamination and fallen debris are the main focus currently.
As such, all key fobs to the facility have been deactivated and will only be reactivated once the facility can open safely to the public.

The Latest
As this remains under investigation, we cannot divulge or provide any other information at this time. I appreciate everyone's concern regarding the incident and thank you all for your understanding during this time.
As remediation works are in process, I do advise all residents to drive slower through that particular intersection and avoid slowing down to take photos and videos. Late last night, three pylons were crushed by a passing vehicle, and the day before I witnessed numerous near miss incidents due to distracted driving.

Let's all work together to maintain the safety in our community as we resolve this issue. I hope everyone has a wonderful Spring Break, and as always, I will keep you posted on the clean-up process, including when we will have an anticipated re-opening date.
And as always, don't forget to subscribe to our email list for the latest happenings and updates in the Upper Windermere Community and the Private Leisure Centre.
