Upper Windermere truly brought summer to life with its 4th Annual Summer BBQ. On a bright, sunny day filled with laughter, music, and mouthwatering dishes, the whole community came together for one of the summer's most anticipated events.
Kicking Off the Festivities
The day began with refreshing drinks that set a cheerful tone. Guests enjoyed a selection of alcoholic beverages provided by Sotheby’s International Realty. Meanwhile, Shack Shine ensured everyone stayed hydrated with a variety of non-alcoholic options, perfect for quenching thirst on a hot day.
A Feast for Everyone
Upper Windermere’s local eateries truly showcased their talents, offering a feast that appealed to all tastes:
Brown’s Social House presented their sesame ginger gyoza which added a flavorful, savory bite that quickly became a crowd favorite.
California Pizza Kitchen impressed guests with their beloved mac and cheese balls, praised for their gooey, cheesy center. To top it off, they served a refreshing key lime pie that offered the perfect balance of tart and sweet.
Flame & Barrel served creamy penne pesto that had everyone coming back for seconds, thanks to its rich flavors. Their butter chicken flatbread was another standout, delivering bold, aromatic spices on a perfectly crisp base.
P.F. Chang’s delighted everyone with their popular chicken lettuce wraps and savory Mongolian beef served over fluffy rice.
Avila Arepa added a unique twist to the mix with authentic dishes, including their signature arepas that brought vibrant flavors to the table.
Sosyal Scoops had a line that never seemed to end, offering exciting ice cream flavors like salted chocolate, rainbow, and bubble gum, ensuring everyone left with a sweet treat.
A Joyful Atmosphere
The energy was palpable, especially among the children. Face painters created a whirlwind of joy, transforming kids into beloved characters like superheroes and mythical creatures. Some kids couldn’t get enough of their colorful new looks, making them the stars of the day.
Melodies in the Air
Enhancing the festive mood was a delightful acoustic performance by local artist Martin Kerr. His heartfelt songs created a warm backdrop for conversations, laughter, and connections, perfectly suiting the laid-back vibe as the day unfolded.
Fun and Games
As the night wore on, the excitement continued with various games for kids and teens. Kids and teens took to the field, engaging in friendly games while dancing along to a DJ spinning crowd-favorite hits — the perfect way to close out a perfect day.

Her hard work ensured everything flowed smoothly, from food logistics to entertainment scheduling. The success of the event was a direct reflection of her commitment to making it a memorable day for all.

From those managing the bouncy castle to ensure kids’ safety, to the talented face painters, to the crew diligently emptying garbages and keeping the streets clean, and those welcoming guests at the front desk check-in — every single staff member played a key role in making sure our community could relax, connect, and enjoy.
